I've been running for over 27 years and I know how hard it can be to balance everything in our normal lives while trying to achieve our running goals. I don't run hundreds of kilometres a week and I don't expect you to either! I believe in training smarter not longer. Most of my running life I've been self-coached however during busy times I've needed to pass the responsibility onto someone else and it makes the world of difference. Having a coach gives you accountability and following a training schedule takes away any doubts about training.
With experience coaching people from half marathon up to 100 miles, I love the challenge of creating a schedule that compliments your lifestyle and is specific to your goals. Recently entering my forties I'm feeling stronger than ever, and with sensible training I've started ticking off 'personal bests' which I never expected at this point in life! We all have the ability to achieve more than we think possible.
