On January 7th 2022, I arrived at the signpost at Stirling Point, Bluff after leaving Cape Reinga 21 days before and set a new Guinness World Record for the fastest female to run the length of New Zealand.
The exact record is set at 20 days, 17 hours, 15 minutes and 57 seconds, running just under 2,100 kilometres.
Averaging over 100 kilometres every day, this run had many, many challenges - it was no walk (run!) in the park! I battled extreme heat, heavy, fast traffic, several injuries, one of my support crew being involved in a car accident, and so much more. It takes incredible grit, resilience and determination to achieve something like this.
Book me as a motivational speaker to hear the stories from this record-breaking feat of endurance to inspire, motivate, and move your audience.
