Hey, I'm Emma.
After running across Africa in 2014, I've been asked multiple times about sharing my story in a book. I'm now very proud to share the outcome of two years work producing my first book aimed at children aged 2-10 years old. I am the main character in the book, the author, the illustrator and the publisher. I've put my absolute heart and soul into creating the most colourful, vibrant and fun book possible.

The book begins as my run did with my feet in the ocean at Henties Bay in Namibia. It then follows my journey across the desert, over hills and through the jungle until completing the adventure at the sea in Mozambique. Completing this book has been an incredibly rewarding experience and seeing it in the hands of children makes all the hard work worthwhile.
What better way to instil self-belief into people than to teach them they can achieve their dreams from a young age. Through my journey children can learn that if they set their minds to something they can achieve whatever they desire. They are guided through the adventure experiencing the highs and lows with a lesson in staying focused even when times are tough. They'll learn about the different countries I ran through, the animals I saw, and the variety of people and cultures I came across. This aims to help broaden children’s understanding of the world and other cultures. At a time when the world is in crisis, it’s really important to show that we are one global community and we care for each other.
