In this piece, a single multicoloured bee takes centre stage — wings outstretched, confident and radiant. Behind it, lots of miniature bees swirl together to form the shape of a rainbow, each one drawn in a different colour of the spectrum.
From afar, the rainbow feels strong and graphic. Step closer and it dissolves into intricate detail — tiny individual bees, layered pencil work, and flowing movement that mirrors the rhythm of a living swarm. Every small mark matters. Every colour has its place.
This artwork celebrates individuality within community — the idea that our differences don’t divide us, they create something powerful and luminous when brought together.
