At the centre of this piece, a single bee with layered colour — a full spectrum flowing across its body, shifting from warm yellows through cool blues and violets. Wings open, it doesn’t shrink into the background. It claims its space.
Behind it, hundreds of delicate pencil lines and miniature bees swirl in constant motion. The background hums with energy — looping flight paths, quiet chaos, collective rhythm. Up close, every tiny bee is visible, each one playing its part. Yet the central figure remains unmistakable.
This artwork is about the courage to stand out. To be seen in your full colour. To resist the instinct to dull yourself for the comfort of the crowd. The swarm still moves, the community still exists — but individuality is not lost within it.
