2 days of RUN + HILLS + FUN

Location: Reefton, New Zealand
Accommodation:  Book your own
Running: 3 guided runs
Distances: 4-5km, 10km, 20-25km
Terrain: 95% trail, 5% road
Ability: This is a social weekend but you must have the ability to comfortably run 25km on trails within 4 hours
Food: Day 1 lunch included, all other meals bring your own

​Overview:

A weekend full of trails, community, and mountain vibes in the wild heart of Reefton, West Coast. We'll kick things off Friday evening with a casual 4–5km meet and greet run to stretch the legs and say hi, before diving into the good stuff on Saturday. The morning starts with an icebreaker at basecamp, then we hit the hills for a punchy 10km technical trail run with 500m of elevation—expect roots, rocks, and classic West Coast bush. After a laid-back lunch (provided), the afternoon brings space to learn and connect with fellow runners and multiple Guinness World Record holder and endurance running coach Emma Timmis, followed by a slow-down yoga session to reset the body. We’ll head to the local pub for dinner to share trail stories and yarns. Sunday ramps things up with a long run—20–25km with 700m of climb, fuelled by your own packed lunch and some serious grit. We wrap up the weekend back at basecamp with cake, photos, and big post-run smiles.

Day 0
Meet & Greet Run: 4-5km, flat 

Arrival Day. Join in an optional meet and greet run in the evening to say hi and familiarise yourself with Reefton, or simply get settled into your accommodation ready to start in the morning!

Day 1
Medium Run: 10km technical trail run, 500m

We ease into the day with a relaxed group intro to get to know each other, before lacing up for a technical 10km trail loop packed with 500m of punchy elevation—think rugged singletrack and forested climbs. After the morning’s adventure, we refuel with a laid-back lunch (provided), followed by an afternoon session of workshops, Q&As, and coach chats—designed to sharpen your trail skills and fuel your motivation. There's time to chill, grab a snack, and then slow things right down with a restorative yoga session at the local dojo. The evening rolls in with a social, hearty dinner at the local pub—well-earned stories and good vibes guaranteed.

Day 2
Long Run: 20-25km, 700m elevation

Start Sunday with the best way - a long run of 20–25km with 700m of elevation. We’ll take in flowing trails through West Coast bush with plenty of time on the feet to close out the weekend strong. We’ll stop mid-run for a relaxed lunch (bring your own), before cruising back into basecamp for cake, photos, and some well-earned chill time with the crew. Expect tired legs, full hearts, and a weekend of good trails firmly in the memory bank.
