Sharing, caring and the cyclists

I am so pleased to announce where my bike and equipment will be exploring over the coming few months.  After writing this blog and offering my bike out to the nation, I had various applications.  I whittled it down to three individuals to use my bike at times that worked together.  Unfortunately one of those people has since become injured so there will only be two people making use of this oppurtunity.

Anne Strafford

Anne is crazy about cycling.  She is a retired nurse with three children.  After having a pretty stressful 2015, she has been working hard to allow herself time to explore the British coast this year.  Anne has previously cycled from Lands End to John O'Groats with friends to raise money for charity which she found both amazing and challenging.  Now with more appropriate kit to use, this years adventures should be a little more enjoyable!

Ali Mahoney

Ali has an old, classic Alpinestars mountain bike which she bought off a friend in 1993. She doesn't have the kit to use it properly as a touring bike so she wrote to me asking to borrow my touring equipment. I can completely understand her desire to use an old bike for touring as this was originally my plan but my old bike wasn't really suitable. Ali is planning to ride her bike and my kit all the way to Chamonix to visit her sister in May.
